Space to grow
For young artists from the North, there is room for artistic development, presentation and networking.

Meet Galerie Dwingeloo
Surrounded by the woodland and heath of Dwingelderveld National Park, Galerie Dwingeloo is tucked among tall trees beside Havezate Westrup. On the northern edge of one of Drenthe’s most beautiful village greens, the gallery has offered space for local art activities and an inspiring place to live and work for promising young artists from the North since 2025.
Whether you love art or are simply curious, you can experience it up close here. Discover, meet and be surprised by the energy of emerging talent and the magic of the North.
Our vision ›We want to be a place where young talent grows, local art is presented, art lovers make new discoveries and creativity is always in motion.
For young artists from the North, there is room for artistic development, presentation and networking.
A place where art comes alive through encounters between artists and visitors from the region and beyond.
An inviting, accessible setting where curiosity is all you need.
AIR DWINGELOO
At Galerie Dwingeloo, young artists temporarily live and work among their own creations, naturally bringing inspiration, daily life and encounters together.
